Jo Cooper

Jo Cooper (they/them) is a queer, emerging movement and performance artist currently based in Boorloo (Perth). They are a graduate of WAAPA, completing a Bachelor of Performing Arts with First Class Honours (2022). Jo has been a part of a wide variety of artist endeavours across dance, pupetry and theatre most recently; ‘THE STATE’ present by Marli Jupiter and Rhi Bryan as part of the Blue Room Annual season 2024 and Theatre Works: Fresh works season 2024, ‘Peculiar Plants and the Ants Who Dance’ presented by Flying Bicycle as part of Fringe World 2025 and ‘IN:VISIBLE’ presented by Enneagon Movement as part of Joondalup festival 2025.
