Jareen and Sebastian are an artistic duo exploring the depths of the human experience through movement and music, transforming emotion into motion and stories into live creations.

In November 2025, they will spend two weeks in residence with STRUT Dance. This residency is presented as part of their STRUT Seed Residency Program.

This workshop invites you to meet your body with softness and curiosity, and to connect with the innate rhythms within.

We’ll begin with gentle somatic warmups to ground, awaken, and prepare the body for the day ahead. From there, we’ll move into our choreographic practice, exploring improvisational tools that encourage us to get lost in movement and music, dropping deeper into the body and allowing it to guide the way. Our practice focuses on listening: to ourselves, to each other, and to the environment around us.

We’ll also share excerpts from our current work in progress, which centres on the meditation of grief; how we move through it, and how shared experience can open pathways to healing and connection. In this exploration, deep listening becomes both a practice and a performance.

This workshop is an offering for you to drop in, move without expectation, and reconnect with your dance.
