Seed 2026

Call for applications

STRUT Dance provides ongoing opportunities for dance artists, supporting the development of choreographic practice and the creation of new work. A component of this support for artists is STRUT’s Seed Residency program. Since 2007, these residencies have offered choreographers financial and administrative resources to explore new ideas and begin new artistic projects.

STRUT’s 2026 Seed Residency program offers a $12,000 grant awarded to a WA-based STRUT Member.

In 2026, the Seed Residency is open to all WA-based STRUT members, and the development must take place in WA. We define WA-based as someone who has lived in the state for at least six of the last 12 months.

Applications close Thursday 6 November 2025 WST 16:00
