Ian "H.O.O.D." de Mello
Ian “H.O.O.D.” de Mello has been a pioneer of Perth’s Krump Movement and Street Dance Culture for over 18 years. Formerly, Ian explored many styles before finding his feet in Krump such as Party Grooves and Urban Choreography. Ian has been recognised by his community as a pillar of Krump, truth and other titles such as, “Most Influential Dancer” & also has been awarded multiple Leadership Awards. Known worldwide dance, philosophy and work, Ian has taught in various studios/workshops around Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand, as well as competed in major cities across Australia, Indonesia, Canada and Los Angeles. He has expertise in organising, judging and competing solo and with crews in dance events. A certified HHI (Hip Hop International – World Hip Hop Dance Championships) judge. Ian has also trained under the co-creator of Krump, Ceasare “Tight Eyez” Willis and the “Krumper of the Year” (2017-2019) Sherwin “Beast” Salonga.
As a movement artist and coach he guides his clients to personal peace and freedom through mindset and movement.
