Choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, is the most prolific Belgian artist of his generation. He has created his own language of movement and developed a philosophy of dance entirely his own. As director of his company Eastman and the National Ballet of Flanders, Cherkaoui fuses all forms of dance with theatre, opera and visual arts into a compelling stage art that is in demand by major companies, festivals and film directors.
