Leah Robyn
Leah Robyn (she/her) is an emerging performance maker. Originally from Wales, U.K, Leah currently resides and creates on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja, and in 2022 graduated from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours with First Class) majoring in Performance Making. She is passionate about movement and has extensive experience with dance training and performance.
In 2022, Leah movement directed She’s Terribly Greedy at The Blue Room Theatre and since graduating has completed a residency with Co3 Contemporary Dance. In conjunction with her love for movement performance, Leah often works within verbatim storytelling and thus began her journey working at Barefaced Stories in 2022. In 2023, she also completed a residency with Fremantle Arts Centre for an audio storytelling work entitled UP THERE. Leah enjoys verbatim storytelling practice for its investigation into the complexities of the human condition. Leah hopes to create movement and storytelling performances that are inclusive, accessible and compassionate.
In her spare time, she is dedicated to promoting WA theatre across her social media platforms and has worked for stop drop + roll as a publicist for Everything Flickers (2023).
