Crystal Pite / 10 Duets on a Theme of Rescue
Crystal Pite is one of the world’s most in-demand choreographers. Her blend of dance, theatre, puppetry and text underpins her global reputation as the choreographic leader of Kidd Pivot. Crystal’s repertoire also sits on most of the major dance companies the world over. STRUT Dance has been in partnership with Crystal and her company Kidd Pivot since 2017, delivering a workshops series that has given access to her masterful choreographic process.
In 2023, Cindy Salgado, dancer with Kidd Pivot, will lead the final stage of this partnership, placing the choreography of “10 Duets on a Theme of Rescue” on an exception group of independent artists for presentation in STRUT’s “Perth Moves” program for Perth Festival.
