Alica Byfield is a skilled administrator with over 11 years’ experience in the Western Australian arts industry. Commencing her arts career in Australia at the Perth International Arts Festival under the helm of Lindy Hume, Alica undertook roles in both administration and business development. Over the last eight years she has operated in the dance sector, having held the position of Artistic Administrator at West Australian Ballet, where she administered several key functions of the company including artistic planning, contracting and touring.
In her time with WAB, Alica facilitated the presentation of numerous seasons and was instrumental in the successful planning and delivery of large-scale tours to a number of regional, national and international centres. With a life-long passion for the arts and a deep appreciation of the vital role that it plays in our community, Alica is thrilled to have been appointed into the role of General Manager at STRUT Dance and looks forward to continuing to make a positive contribution to enriching Western Australia’s cultural landscape.
