Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui ‘Manifest’ Auditions
On November 16 and 17 2024, STRUT and Eastman will hold an audition for a paid creation period and performances of Manifest, a world premiere by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for Perth Moves, as part of Perth Festival 2025.
Manifest will be a new work for West Australian audiences inspired by notions from Mahatma Ghandi on nonviolent resistance against discrimination and injustice.
Manifest will be led by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Tara Jade Samaya.
We encourage dancers from any and all backgrounds, styles, forms, experiences, and trajectories to audition:
- You do not need to have attended our recent Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui Workshop, or any previous workshops
- You must be 18+
- You must be based on Boorloo (in Perth) for the duration of the project
- You must be an AUS/NZ resident.

Project: 20 Jan 2025 – 21 Feb 2025
Creation will be held at King Street Arts Centre.
Performances will be at Forrest Place.
