Practice Sharing

Practice Sharing is an arena to enter into artistic dialogue, an opportunity to share skills, a space for physical thinking, and a way to engage in different creative practices. Facilitated by established local and visiting dance artists, the sessions are presented in an open, workshop-style format that may move between dancing, writing, choreographic research, and discussion.

Production Skills Workshop

In 2024, STRUT Dance and The Blue Room Theatre introduce a series of eight Production Skills workshops. The workshops are practice-based sessions aimed to assist independent makers in all the things they are required to do in and around their productions but might not have had the training to do so. Each workshop will focus on a different element of production including sound, finance, writing, cultural awareness, lighting, and dramaturgy.
