Tom Mullane

Tom Mullane (he/him) is an early-career contemporary dance artist, choreographer and educator based in Boorloo (Perth). Tom has worked with STRUT Dance, Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia, Enneagon Movement, and Unkempt Dance. His choreographic portfolio includes ‘Pretty Purgatory’ as part of SITU:8 CITY (2022) by STRUT Dance. ‘The Last Ballet’ (2025) presented in The Blue Room Theatre’s Summer Nights program. And ‘Dress RUN!’ (2026) as part of 600 Seconds MOVE. In 2024, Tom was Creative Coordinator for KickstART Festival with Propel Youth Arts WA.

Tom’s creative practice is grounded in playful responsiveness. Working with somatics, improvisation and a little bit of clowning, he approaches dance as a serious and not-so-serious art form. Through his work in youth and creative learning spaces, Tom uses a collaborative practice to help others connect to their bodies and find new ways of moving together.
