May Greenberg
May Greenberg is a Jerusalem born, Perth based independent dancer. After graduating WAAPA, May performed “Decadance” choreographed by Ohad Naharin at the 2016 MoveMe festival. May performed with Brooke Leeder and Dancers in the 2019 Fremantle Biennale with “RADAR” and the 2021 Perth Festival with “Structural Dependency”. May has since worked with various artists and companies including, Mitch Harvey Company, Robert Tinning, CO:3 Australia, Natalie Allen, STRUT Dance and Broad Encounters. Choreographically, May has been commissioned to create for three iterations of SITU8 with works including “How To Digest an Apple” (2018) “Escapism” (2020) and “Disclaimer” (2021), and choreographed “Uncountable” alongside Zunnur Zhafirah for the 2021 Fremantle Biennale. May performed “The Ninth Wave” by The Farm in collaboration with CO:3 as part of the 2022 Perth Festival, and is now currently in Shanghai performing in Punchdrunk’s “Sleep No More”.
