Bridgette Davies

Bridgette Davies is a contemporary artist currently based in Boorloo. Originally from Garramilla, Bridgette spent years in the beginning of her training at SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre until she continued into WAAPA in 2022. Bridgette completed her tertiary training at WAAPA in 2024 after working with an array of artists such as Scott Galbraith, Rhiana Katz, Isabella Stone, Deanne Butterworth, Lee Serle and Natalie Allen.

Since graduating Bridgette has performed in the 2025 Perth Fringe Festival with the show The Game directed by local Boorloo artist Leah Robyn and created her own work titled, ‘InSafety’ that she was grateful to present as a part of the Blue Room Theatre’s, 2025, ‘600 Seconds’ season.

She also received a First Nations bursary to take part in Strut Dance’s 2025 Perth Moves where she connected with artists and groups like, Ta’alili, Amrita Hepi, All the Queens Men, Alice Cummins and Gary Lang. Her current personal interests lie in utilising dance to reconnect with her disjointed cultural heritage and understanding the current social and cultural politics that exist within the dance industry.
