Antonio Rinaldi

Antonio Rinaldi (he/him) is an Australian-based freelance performing artist and choreographer whose body of experience includes working with Opera Aus, W.A Opera, W.A. Ballet, Co3, NGV, The Forsythe Foundation, Jack Riley, Maxine Doyle/Conor Doyle and Punchdrunk. He has worked internationally in Preston, U.K. for the MT curriculum @ UCLAN and taught @ MDI in Liverpool. He was recently a guest artist @ LOFT in Kiel, Germany where he was in residence developing a new physical theatre work ‘Bric A Brac’ which is ongoing.

He is currently invested in the exploration of compositional POV; to be as a maker, an artist and a dancer, if they are not indeed one and the same- that is the question. He owes his time working with Punchdrunk and Maxine Doyle to the continued further scrutiny of these questions and the ‘subtle body’- arising from a learned ‘states of tension’ process in development.
