Harrison Elliott

Harrison is a born-and-raised Boorloo dance-artist currently living and working in Meanjin, Brisbane. He was a long-time member of STEPS Youth Dance company and briefly trained at WAAPA. Harrison has worked in the performing arts industry for over 12 years, throughout which he has operated as an independent artist, workshop facilitator, choreographer and company artist with various Australian companies. These include Buzz Dance Theatre, Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Force Majeure, Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) and Australasian Dance Collective (ADC).

He has been a collaborative performer on new works by artists such as Maxine Doyle, Ina Christel Johannessen and Gabrielle Nankivell, and toured repertory works by Hofesh Shechter, Melanie Lane and Amy Hollingsworth.

He looks forward to returning to Perth to reconnect with the places, people and community that has shaped him as an artist and person.
