Independent Presentation in the State Theatre Centre of WA

Currently suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.

A cross-sector initiative between STRUT Dance, the State Theatre Centre of WA and The Blue Room Theatre, with the aim to increase the pipeline of development and presentation opportunities for the independent dance sector.

And Then Some is core to these three organisations’ commitment to developing platforms for independent artists to present longer work with higher production values. In 2020, And Then Some will be a fully produced evening of independent contemporary dance – a double-bill from two choreographers/choreographic teams, presented in the State Theatre Centre’s Studio Underground

Work considered for And Then Some will be drawn from the following pathways or programs:

Short Cuts – the 2020 season

Winter Shorts or MicroMove – either of the 2020 seasons

STRUT SEED Residencies – all SEEDs from 2019 and 2020 undertaken prior to the EOI are eligible

Independent choreographic developments funded through external sources and organisations, with development undertaken in either 2019 or 2020
