Rikki is an independent contemporary dance artist based in Perth.
She has completed both her Certificate II in Dance (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance (2014) at the acclaimed Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Rikki has worked and performed with Barking Gecko Theatre Company at the State Theatre Centre in their seasons of ‘Driving Into Walls’ in 2012 and ‘ONEFIVEZEROSEVEN’ in 2014.
Since graduation Rikki has continued to develop both as a performing artist and a choreographer and she has produced two works at The Blue Room Theatre. ‘It’s strange to remember a touch over a thought’, which premiered in their 600 Seconds program as part of the Perth Fringe World 2015 and was selected to perform in ‘the best of’ night from the season. In 2016 she produced, choreographed and performed in her work ‘How to Con-nect’ which was a part of a double bill season at The Blue Room Theatre called ‘Awkward Con-nections'. The work received the overall dance and physical theatre award in the Perth Fringe World 2016 and was toured to Melbourne later that year.
