Kimberley Parkin

Kimberley Parkin is an independent artist based in Boorloo (Perth) Western Australia. She is a former graduate of The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she completed her Bachelor of Arts (Dance) Honours degree. Kimberley is an emerging artist who has presented her original works in STRUT’s Short Cuts program, FRINGE WORLD FESTIVAL (5 year involvement) and State Theatre Company of WA’s State of Play program in 2021 where she debuted her first full-length work Cry Baby. She then further received Government funding towards the second instalment of Cry Baby presented The Rechabite in August 2021. Kimberley has performed professionally through Perth’s FRINGE WORLD FESTIVAL, The Blue Room Theatre, Stephanie Lake’s COLOSSUS and through STRUT’s Situ-8 program. She was nominated this year for a Performing Arts WA Award for her performance in Fish Feet presented at the Blue Room Theatre by Jess & Joss in 2020. Kimberley is a STRUT SEED recipient for 2022.
